We've added tea to the refreshing and classic summer drink, the agua fresca. You can create this recipe with watermelon or any other summer fruit!
Ingredients
Recipe serves 12
6 Stash Premium Green tea bags
3 cups hot water
3 cups ice
1/2 watermelon, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 sprig of mint
Directions
- Steep the green tea bags in the hot water for three minutes. Take out the bags and let the tea chill in the fridge.
- Combine the ice, watermelon, lemon juice, agave and mint in a blender. Pulse until smooth.
- Pour the green tea over ice and add the watermelon mixture. Stir well. Add mint to garnish.
