Our Vithanakande Ceylon is a highly sought-after grade produced from a wiry leaf and a very high percentage of tips. Brisk in liquor and darker than our other Ceylons, it features a light astringency and medium body.

Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, is a beautiful tropical island just off the southern tip of India. Ceylon tea is often hailed as the world's best fruity black tea. It is renowned for its briskness of flavor and clarity in the cup. Ceylon teas have distinctive personalities-a rich taste and a bright golden to rosy red color. Ceylon teas are known as "the cup that cheers".

Green And black tea

Product was packaged well. Was received in good shape. Enjoy the resealable containers.

Rich Ceylon.

I love to try different estate loose black teas. This Vithanakande Estate Ceylon is excellent, brewing a dark, rich tea, which I find is strong enough to enjoy with a drop of whole milk. Very delicious and satisfying for those who enjoy a darker, stronger tea.

Ceylon Black is my all time favorite tea

Vithanakande Estate makes an excellent Ceylon Black tea. I've been drinking this tea for several years now. Approximately three pots a day. Occasionally I'll make a pot of Darjeeling in the afternoon. I've always preferred Ceylon Black to any other tea and am glad that I found Vithanakande Estate in the Stash Tea store.
