Monkey Business
The first thing I noticed when I brewed a cup o Golden Monkey black tea was the aroma of freshly mowed hay experienced in my youth when farmers still raked the hay into piles and loaded it on wagons to transfer it to the barn. Then as I took my first sip I caught a note of the grape arbor with heavily ladened vines of scuppernong fruit in front of the barn. All in all a delightful experience of a strong bodied tea enjoyed in a wood fired mug purchased from a craftsman In the heart of Seagrove, North Carolina, pottery capital of the USA.

A nice, rich tea with subtle tones, no bitterness, just a rounded flavor. I love this tea and STASH- great company, great service, fabulous tea!
