Stash Tea® is looking for spectacular bloggers to compete in our inaugural Stash Tea Blogger Recipe Challenge.
At Stash Tea, our mission is to take tea drinkers on wonderfully flavorful journeys, doing what we love best—sharing happiness one cup at a time. Since 1972, Stash has crafted hundreds of delicious and unique blends in addition to classic tea favorites. Made with the best all-natural ingredients from around the world, Stash’s premium line of bagged teas is Project Non-GMO Verified and certified Kosher.
The challenge date has been set; the tea kettles will be whistling and the pans banging to see who becomes the Grand Prize Winner of the Stash Tea Blogger Recipe Challenge.
Take the challenge and share your creativity using Stash’s flavorful teas to create tasty and unexpected recipes that are easy to recreate and a delight to enjoy. All qualified participants will receive three free Stash products per category to create their recipes with.
The Stash Tea Blogger Recipe Challenge will only be open to the first 30 eligible bloggers who sign up. There are three categories for the challenge, listed below. Bloggers are encouraged to participate in all three categories. One winner will be selected from each category and the winning recipes from each category will compete to see who will become the grand prize winner. The contest starts on February 1st, 2019 and ends March 31st, 2019. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

ENTERTAINING CATEGORY: $500.00 Cash Prize
Tea-centric big-batch recipes for gatherings of 10 or more. Calling all hosts and party planners! We’re looking for recipes that are lovely to look at and fun to serve.
STARTERS & SAVORY DISHES CATEGORY: $500.00 Cash Prize
Culinary creations to excite foodies, from hors d'oeuvres to marinated dishes to flavorful sauces and dressings. No desserts or sweet treats.
Visual Appeal: 25%Does the recipe show well on a plate, glass or cup? Do your eyes make you want to eat or drink this recipe before you even smell or taste it?

Creativity: 25%Does your recipe show originality? Is this recipe reflective of unique twists to ingredient usage? Is your recipe unique from recipes already available in the brand’s recipe library? Is the recipe name enticing? Have you incorporated your personal touch to this recipe?

Taste: 50%Does the recipe highlight tea as a key ingredient? Does this recipe taste great with every sip or bite? Would you want to make this recipe over and over again based on taste alone? Does it contain interesting, yet gratifying flavor combinations?

Contest Rules
To take the challenge, participants must submit the entry form below starting on February 1st, 2019. To qualify for the Stash Tea Blogger Recipe Challenge the following rules apply:- Must be 21 years old or older at time of entry
- A legal U.S. resident – Voided in Alaska and Hawaii
- Food or beverage blog must be updated frequently (at least once per week) and has been in existence for at least 6 months
- RECIPE MUST BE ORIGINAL
- Applicants cannot be professional chefs or bartenders
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
Recipe Details
Stash Tea will send qualified applicants the below Stash Tea products to create their original recipes. Your original recipe must be from the category you entered and highlight tea as a key ingredient. Only recipes using eligible Stash Tea products will be considered. When compiling the list of ingredients for your recipe, you must state the name of the Stash Tea product used. Other ingredients used in the recipe must be easily available items and not specific or unique to any other brand.
Photos must be a mix of horizontal and vertical layouts, with at least three images that clearly display Stash Tea product packaging (box and tea envelope) along with the finished recipe. Lifestyle photos including in-process shots, pouring shots, and brewed cups of our tea are encouraged.
All qualified participants will receive three free Stash products specific to each category to create their recipes with:
- NOT-YOUR-AVERAGE TEA: Stash Lemon Ginger, Stash English Breakfast, Stash Peppermint
- ENTERTAINING: Stash Chamomile (30-ct), Stash Earl Grey (30-ct), Stash Pomegranate Raspberry (30-ct)
- STARTERS & SAVORY DISHES: Stash Lemon Ginger, Stash Premium Green, Stash Chai Spice
Stash Tea is looking for recipes that are easy to recreate, mouthwateringly delicious, and of course, original and inventive.
How to Submit Your Recipe
You must publicly post your final recipe along with photos of your selected Stash Tea product(s) on your food blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram to qualify. You must also include Stash Tea’s social media links (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter), website URL (stashtea.com), and promo code (supplied upon entry) when posting your recipe on your blog. You must also tag Stash Tea on all of your social media platforms using the hashtags #stashtea #stashtearecipechallenge and #stashtearecipes.
Please email your original recipe to contest@stashtea.com, including 3-5 photos (jpeg) of your finished recipe, along with links to your published recipe and social media posts by the contest deadline. Applicants are responsible for complying with all rules of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
We highly encourage you to share your recipes on any and all forms of social media including, but not limited to: Foodgawker, Tastespotting, Tumblr, YouTube, Google+, etc. Please send links to sites where you have shared your recipe to contest@stashtea.com.
CONTEST TIMELINE & IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Contest begins February 1, 2019 and ends March 31, 2019
- Recipes must be sent no later than March 31, 2019
- No recipes will be allowed for entry after March 31, 2019
- Contest only open to the first 30 QUALIFIED bloggers
