Product Details

A delightful and exotic blend of green tea and mints, with a hint of lemon. Chinese green tea, spearmint and peppermint from Oregon, and freshly cut lemongrass are combined for a fragrant, refreshing and aromatic Moroccan Mint green tea. It is a superb drink hot or iced. Try it Moroccan style, sweetened with sugar.

In the bazaars of Morocco in North Africa, tea is served on a "sinya" or three legged tray, usually made of brass, plus a smaller tray which holds three boxes, one for green tea, one for mint and one for sugar. The tea is prepared in a samovar which brews strong, highly concentrated tea. Then it is heavily sweetened with sugar and a touch of mint. The tea is then poured into a teapot (known as a Moroccan style pot) which is elongated rather than round with a longer spout. The tea is poured from this teapot held high in the air into small crystal glasses with brass handles. Moroccans enjoy the social ritual of making this sweet flavorful tea which goes well with their hearty lamb stew, couscous, nuts and apricots.

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

Tazo, who?

I drank Tazo Zen green tea for years because I wanted caffeine, but I had decided to distance myself from soda. Coffee upsets my stomach too much, so iced tea was the solution.

I was in the grocery store a few weeks ago and noticed they were out of my usual, so I decided to give Stash's Moroccan Mint a try because its ingredients are very similar to Zen. Plus it was roughly a dollar less expensive. I went home and made a mug of iced Moroccan Mint, and I now have a new favorite tea! The mint flavor is very refreshing, but not overwhelming. I also really appreciate that I'm buying a somewhat regional product (I live in Montana) that's not produced by a Starbuck's subsidiary. In my opinion, Moroccan Mint is the best affordable green tea on the market. Please don't change a thing, and I'll keep buying it and other Stash teas.

The is my #2 favorite tea, right behind Jasmine. I received it in a sample pack and was very hesitant because mint is not my thing. Well, i will admit to being wrong! This is great to have after a long day and relax. Try it, you will like it!!

This is the tea he prefers. Not quite as overpowering as just a straight mint tea. If I ask what he'd like me to order, he always asks for this one.
