Best Tea Ever!!

I grew up in a "stiff upper lip" British family, so tea was a daily staple of existence. We were always taught the details of the best things in life, and how to enjoy them.

Twenty years ago I was introduced to Stash Teas. I was absolutely blown away with the quality, the fine orchestration of teas, herbs and flavours that clearly demonstrated these guys at Stash Tea are true artisans! The teas they create are fine works of artistry. Definitely the Captain's stash!

The pinnacle of their teas is this Orange Spice Black Tea!! Wow. Rich in orange flavour, with an earthy warm spiciness that MUST be experienced. If you buy any tea here - make sure this one is first on your list.

A splash of milk and a bit of sugar makes it an amazing experience that I strive to enjoy every day. Guess what I serve guests when they come over...

Keep up the great work, fellow artisans! This tea should be your flagship blend.

As they would say in the Royal Navy, "Bravo Zulu".

So I could not find the blood orange version of this tea and settled for this one. I like it just as good but not better then the blood orange.

How ever I decided to try something different with this tea. I got the last part of a pot of coffee and decided to dunk my tea ball down in to it. I know what your thinking how dare he. Well let me tell you it was actually good. OK it was very good. Though I will confess it was actually a second use tea ball but it was prevalent with the orange note coming through the coffee. So if you are adventurous give this a try.

I love this flavoured tea ... it is very subtle and yet bright and fresh. I always add a little sugar and milk which I think smooths out the spiceness of the tea. Lovely to relax with. Try it ... you'll like it as much as I do.
