Product Details

For Chai lovers, more spice than our Chai Spice, and coriander and whole cardamom for an even more flavorful drink.

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

  • Cups to Grams:
    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
    • 25 grams makes 10-15 cups
    • 50 grams makes 20-25 cups
    • 100 grams makes 45-50 cups
    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
  • Ingredients: blended black teas, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, coriander seed, ginger root, natural cinnamon flavor, clove oil, cardamom oil
  • Steeping Instructions: 3-5 minutes at 190-209 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Caffeinated: Yes

Five years ago I was introduced to Double Spice Chai. I am a serious Tea drinker so I have found Stash to be the best. But you can't always find it on the shelves so here is the buy @ 90ct. I take my tea cup with me everywhere. In restaurants I just ask for hot water. After brewing for about 5 mins everyone around wants to know what I'm drinking. Often I will give a tea bag I carry in my purse to the server. More than once they have thanked me. The other two teas that essential in my life is Peach Ginger and Double Bergamot.

I decided to 'give up' coffee (it was upsetting my stomach) but I didn't want the caffeine headache that comes when going 'cold turkey' so I found this Spiced Chai Tea -- I'm IN LOVE! Granted, I drank a lot of coffee, (by a lot I mean in the neighborhood of 2 pots a day) - now I can get about 2 full 20oz cups of tea per bag! I wonder if they do or could make this for a Keurig? (But I know I'd have to hide the box if they did!) This is an excellent alternative to coffee. Smells great, tastes great, and has enough caffeine that you won't get a 'giving up coffee' headache! Thanks! Great find!

Heavy on clove

I was looking to get the original Chai but more so with Double Spice but it seems a little heavy on the clove for my taste.
