"This infuser is great for making iced tea! It turns almost any pitcher into an iced tea maker. It's large enough to hold the right amount of tea to brew it iced right in your pitcher. You can also use it for mulling spices. The high quality stainless steel makes this a long-lasting infuser that you can pop it into the dishwasher when you're done. " - Nancy M. (Direct Sales Buyer)

I usually brew my iced tea in 1/2 gallon mason jars and thought my new infuser would fit the bill perfectly. I just re-read the specs and they state the infuser is 3" wide BUT the lid of the infuser takes that up to 3 3/8" wide! My wide mouthed jar openings are exactly 3", not big enough but luckily I still had my old one gallon pickle jar in a back cupboard which has a wider opening. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star. It performs like a champ as expected and cleans easily and is built to last.
I needed a large infuser to make large batches of iced tea, and this infuser is perfect for that. It's easy to use, easy to keep clean, and I highly recommend it.
I love these capsules for making any tea but especially when making Sun Tea. I only use loose leaf tea and these work great. I also occasionally use them to hold spices when cooking in my slow cooker. You can’t go wrong with these infusers! Highly recommend!
I bought this to use in my teapots and it works great, much better than one I had before.
I have two of these now and I love them. They don't rust, there's no wire mesh to come undone, the holes are teensy-tiny and do a great job of keeping the tea leaves from escaping into the pot, and they're much easier to clean than any other infusers I've had. The only warning I'd issue for them is with respect to diameter--make sure your teapot is wide-mouthed enough to accommodate this. The 6-cup Brown Betty teapot Stash sells, for example, won't work with this infuser; but there are other large teapots that this does fit.
