Naturally sweet without anything added, and energizing without caffeine. I've found a good balance of berries to leaves is one berry per cup. I use more leaves than I would with tea. I brew with an open infuser, then sometimes after brewing I'll mash the berry a bit inside the infuser with a spoon, which adds a bit of the sweet juice. But sometimes I'll just eat the berry instead (it has seeds).
