Japanese-style Brazilian Shincha 2021 | Stash Tea

Brazilian Shincha 2021

Shincha is the first harvest of tea leaves after the dormant winter months. Shin means new and cha means tea. This new tea is wildly popular and can only be purchased once per year for a short amount of time.

This year we secured two types of Shincha from our sister company Yamamotoyama so that you get a chance to experience its unique taste and color. Back in May, we received a small batch of highly sought after Japanese Shincha, straight from the first spring harvest. Now, we are excited to bring you a new Shincha experience with our Brazilian Shincha, available in limited quantities.

“My family has been in the green tea business for centuries and have our own traditions around tea. Every year we look forward to seeing what the new harvest of Shincha will taste like. This year is no exception.” — Nami Yamamoto, CEO of Stash Tea
