"The toasty flavor of Genmai is very nostalgic for me. Just the aroma alone brings me back to memories of my mother soaking handfuls of toasted rice in her tea—right before she ate it with a spoon! I haven't yet experienced another tea that can bring me such a sense of home." - Alaina H. (Wholesale Marketing Manager)

So yummy.

This tea is a huge hit at our house. (I'm drinking it while writing this review!) The green tea is nice (as always) and the toasted brown rice gives it a flavor that one has to try to appreciate. I drink mine with a little sugar in it and it's perfect.

Comfort in a cup

I love tea, and sometimes you just want something warm and soothing. I crossed paths with Genmaicha a few years ago (a very dusty, stale iteration) and found it's popcorn taste a nice variation on the normal flavors of tea I was used to. Of course, I had to order from Stash and BOY WAS I HAPPY I DID. Much better quality than my first sip- beautiful fresh vegetal "green" flavor with comforting nutty, toasty, starchy undertones! It's so comforting after a heavy meal or long day. This cup needs no additions, garnishes, or further ado. It's a lovely hug in a cup.

Fantastic blend

I'm big fan of tea and don't mind to try something new. This blend was pleasant surprise for me. It has nutty-earthy flavor. Very comforting blend especially for cold weather. Love it

Warm and comforting

Genmaicha is warm and comforting . Drinking Genmaicha feels like coming in from the cold and stripping down to your long underwear to recover . It’s slightly bold yet comforting .
