Super Irish Breakfast Black Tea
- 20 ct -20 tea bags in a box
- Case - six 20 ct boxes
The Irish like their tea brewed very strong. Our Super Irish Breakfast blend is truly "the espresso" of teas. This tea is delicious with milk and sugar, but lovers of brisk breakfast teas will drink it plain.
Our Super Irish Breakfast is a more caffeinated version of the regular Irish Breakfast. While Irish Breakfast is usually blended with an Assam tea base, our Super Irish Breakfast has even more Assam, which makes the tea maltier, richer and more full-bodied.
Assam is a district in northeastern India that lies on the Indian-Burmese border. It produces more black tea than any other area on earth, with the exception of a few places in China. Assam's tea gardens cover some four hundred thousand acres of verdant rolling plains on both sides of the mighty Brahmaputra River.
The other black tea used in our Super Irish Breakfast blend is Ceylon. Ceylon-or its contemporary name Sri Lanka-is a beautiful tropical island that lies just twenty-two miles off the southern tip of India. Sri Lanka supplies about 25% of the world's tea. The nearly six hundred thousand acres of tea under cultivation provide well over half of the island's export earnings.

"My favorite is our Super Irish Breakfast. I find that during this time of year where it's getting warmer but the mornings are still chilly and as tiring as ever, a great way to get myself going is with a cup of strong Super Irish Breakfast. I take mine with cream and sugar for a morning pick-me-up." – Derek K. (Sales Support Technician)
Love the teas
We order Super Irish Breakfast Black Tea and Premium Green Tea because neither is reliably available through our local stores. Thank you for accommodating us.
I don’t leave for work without this tea in hand. I add half & half with natural sugar. Great boost heading to the job.
I enjoy tea, and have for several years, but my recent purchase of Stash teas has been eye-opening. Super Irish Breakfast is potent, high-caffeine tea; malty and dark, but not bitter. I can actually taste the eggnog and Jamaican rum flavors in Holiday Chai tea. I was pleasantly surprised with Licorice Spice tea, an herbal tea with much of the flavor of black tea plus warming herbal spices. I am so happy I tried Stash teas, I’m sold for life.
I've been a fan of the Twinings version of this for years now, and picked up your Super Irish the other day when the supermarket was out of Twinings. While this has a different flavor, simpler and more tannin-heavy, it's still excellent and has a wonderful smooth mouthfeel, due to what I assume is a large extraction ratio of complex phenolics. It brews to a beautiful deep red with a hint of brown, and is good for two cups at least to the bag.
It's also got quite the jolt; I may very well replace coffee with this, it's that powerful. Thank you for making this!
