Just love it for a morning or afternoon cup.
I drink tea everyday at work and I steep the leaves of this tea a second time while the pot is remaining hot over the tea candle. I am a teacher and this tea is fortifying to me. It is a strong Darjeeling. Namring Darjeeling Tea really makes an extra pot that I share with my fellow colleague and tea lover!! This is the tea we enjoy the most. It is a complex Tea and is a bit astringent, but am careful not to boil my tea water when I make this tea. The taste is better when the water only simmers. I think any tea lover should get to know the Namring Darjeeling.
He likes Oolong. She likes Darjeeling. Both very much like Assam. Well rounded flavor, deeper than darjeeling, not as fragrant as darjeeling, but very satisfying.
Namring Estate Darjeeling Black Tea is a delight for ordinary tea drinkers who like something more distinctive that English Breakfast Tea. The flavor of a brew of these first flush tea leaves will wake up your taste buds and have them calling for another cup. I gave my son who resides in the frozen northland and drinks tea every day a 100g package for Christmas with my hearty recommendation. Enjoy!
I will not be purchasing this tea again. The flavor was not appealing to me.
This tea infuses to a light golden cup, with smooth clean flavors. Not bitter, just nice tea flavor with floral notes and a bit of muscat. This tea tastes on the green end of the black tea spectrum. Very pleasant and easy to drink plain.
