Fusion Green and White Tea - Loose Leaf | Stash Tea

Fusion Green and White Tea

  • Product Description

Unique blend of rare and expensive white tea and top quality green tea. We begin with Mutan White (White Peony) which is made from the leaves of the da bai or "big white" bush and mixed with buds from the shui hsien or "water sprite" tea plant. The leaves have silver tips and are predominantly greenish-brown in color and very flat. The buds are lustrous, soft and silvery. Its name, a literal translation from the Chinese, probably comes from the very pale color of its liquor.

We then blend this white tea with green tea from Japan, China and India. The resulting tea is pale gold in the cup and has a unique delicate, smooth flavor.

White tea is a very rare, expensive connoisseurs tea that was only produced in China's Fujian province, a region famous for its prized white teas. It is difficult to obtain as production is extremely limited. White tea is harvested only a few days of the year. Once harvested, white tea is not oxidized or rolled, but simply withered and dried.

    It’s Sooooo GOOD!!!

I’ve been drinking this tea for over 10 years and I just love it; it never gets old. Mild and satisfying all year round, no matter the season. Highly recommend it.

    Wonderful flavors!!

Very very pleased with my order, teas are delish.

Got stash teas in a college care package, so I decided to order some to get the full experience. No regrets. I was new to loose leaf teas so I decided to give it a try and I am impressed. Amazing flavors and customer service, even received from free samples. Can’t wait to try more!!

    Nice combo!

The balance betwn the 2 types of smooth teas are perfect, now only if this was organic. Not grassy or fishy flavors, the white offsets that part of the green tea. I worry that the blends come fr 3 various countries - Japan, China & India. I'd rather that it comes from 1 tea farm. I think it's safer, less transferring of leaves fr the 3 different countries. Also, the leaves are WAAaay better than the teabags, as always. Teabags tend to taste stale, but their convenient & cheaper. Of interest...190deg, 3min.

    Tea goodness

Green and white fusion loose tea is the best. The perfect morning starter .
