A special cup

I have loved various Stash Darjeelings in the last 40 years, but this Autumnal Flush is a refined, subtle cup. It's lovely with a plain cookie in the afternoon as a pick-me-up, but it's also nice in the evening, plain, by itself. Adding cream and sugar are a bit of a waste, since they'll mask some of the subtle flavor.

Review of Darjeeling Autumnal Flush black tea

I am just having my first taste of this tea . I love it. It is not too heavy tasting and has a light aftertaste.

Darjeeling Autumnal Flush Black Tea

This tea is decent, but not nearly as good as the Namring Estate Darjeeling Black Tea that was previously purchased. That tea is now green tea and not very good at all. Still trying to find a Darjeeling to replace it.

A Perfect 3rd flush!

If you like Ceylon, Keemun, or Irish, then you'll enjoy this 3rd flush. Even though most tea connoisseurs prefer the 1st & 2nd flush, i don't. It tastes to close to Earl Greys, that bergamot tinge. For those seasons, for me, the tea flavor is too citricky, or the word that's often used is "brisk." Also the word "muscatel" is used often for description, in reference to grapes, well then, the 1st flush would be like a eating an UNRIPE grape, a wee bit sour for me. But this 3rd flush - PERFECT - not too brisky, mild malty taste & VERY SMOOTH. Unlike the 1st & 2nd, w/ the 3rd, i don't need milk or sugar. It's great plain!

I love the holiday teas
