Organic Sunny Dandelion Root
- 18 ct - 18 tea bags in a box
- Case - six 18 ct boxes
This mellow and rejuvenating blend highlights the toasty flavor of Dandelion Root, which is popular in many detox blends. It has been rounded out nicely with the addition of cocoa shell, roasted chicory and a touch of natural sweetness from orange peel and vanilla. It brews to a beautiful golden copper color.

I love this tea. It reminds me of Stash's Chocolate Orange Herbal Tea. There is a mild chocolate flavor. It is so pleasant and great tasting. I now have another favorite tea. Some reviewers complained about lack of taste. I like my tea in a 12+oz mug, so I let this one steep about 10-12 minutes. It is perfect. Wonderful flavor. No bitterness.
W/ the other combo of herbs/flavors, this tea can be added to other black or oolong teas or drink it by itself. I'm not using dandelion for any medical ailments or detox, rather for the added nutty flavoring for my other tea mixes. If if has health benefits, great! although, teas in general have various health benefits, more than coffee it appears, esp daily.
I wasn't sure how a flower would taste, i didn't even know there were flowery, root teas. It would seem it wouldn't be good as a drink, like lavender, rather for shampoos, soaps, etc.-etc. But this combo of herbs makes this tea palatable, even w/ food. Now only if they could make lavender teas the same, lavender is way too perfumy as a drink.
I have stage 3 chronic kidney disease. I had been reading of the benefits of dandelion root tea. I admit I had to get used to the taste, but now I look forward to having a cup at bedtime. I find that my kidney function has improved. I believe this will be confirmed, when I have kidney tests, the end of August.
Smooth earthy flavor.
This tea has a lovely, rich flavor. It will definitely be a regular for me!
