Peppermint has a refreshing, mouth-tingling flavor; we have enhanced its naturally creamy notes with natural flavors of chocolate to create a sweet dessert drink that is reminiscent of peppermint patties. Naturally caffeine-free, this herbal tisane will warm you up on chilly nights.
Peppermint is a perennial herb that is a natural hybrid of water mint and spearmint. The United States is the leading producer of peppermint, particularly Oregon and Washington. We source our peppermint exclusively from top-quality Oregon-grown mint, which is considered some of the world's finest. Oregon's rich soil, cool winters, and dry summers provide mint growers with the natural tools to produce the best peppermint.
The mint is harvested in July and August, and when dried, is sold as leaf or for oil production. Stash Tea purchases its mint leaf directly from the farmers. It is sent from the peppermint fields to the Stash plant, where it is blended and packaged.

The Chocolate Peppermint tea is my favorite!!! The taste is so crisp and clean. The peppermint is so refreshing while the hint of chocolate is indulgent! Super wonderful tea!
To me, the flavor of this tea is too mild. I have tried using more and more of the tea when brewing, but the chocolate barely comes through. I recommend the Chocolate Hazelnut tea instead.
I find the peppermint Chocolate to be a good morning starter. A pleasant aroma and the flavor is excellent. Today I tried it cold, very nice cold also. Thank you for the offering, I will be purchasing it again :^)
Love, love, LOVE your loose leaf peppermint tea!! Great service great company!
I was a little wary of purchasing this, admittedly, because flavored tisanes tend to be either really sweet or really bitter in my experience. Stash's blend manages to have a balanced flavor between the chocolate and peppermint, something which I can enjoy sweetened or unsweetened. It's exactly what it says on the tin, and it's one of my favorite dessert teas.
