fizzy fruit tea soda
4 teaspoons hibiscus tea
2 cups peaches
1/2 cup sugar
2 quarts water
2 liters carbonated soda water
fruit or berries for garnish (optional)
Boil the water on the stove top. Put the hibiscus tea in an infuser or cheesecloth sack, and steep it in the water for five minutes. Add sugar and peaches (or your choice of fruit) to the pot and boil to make a syrup.
If you like, you can strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a mesh strainer.
Allow to cool in the fridge.
Pour the blend over ice, then top with soda.
Garish with your choice of fruit!
