Giving Back to Support NYC Healthcare Workers

Here at Stash Tea, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve. We are excited to bring comfort and a little cup of fun to those frontline workers in New York City who are doing so much for others. Stash CEO Nami Yamamoto stated,
“We want to sincerely thank the healthcare workers who are going to the frontlines for doing what they can to keep us all safe and healthy. We hope that our tea will help bring joy to workers, during a taxing time.”

Stash Tea is Giving Back, One Tea Bag at a Time During Covid-19
To make the distribution of this donation possible, Stash Tea is partnering with the largest public healthcare system in the U.S., NYC Health + Hospital. They are providing our tea to nurses, doctors, and other healthcare workers by coordinating Compassion Carts that can be wheeled around the hospitals for workers and Respite Rooms. The rooms and carts will be at 14 hospitals throughout NYC and be stocked full of different flavors of Stash Tea and other donations like fresh scrubs, compression socks, chocolate, and more.
In addition to donating tea to one of the hardest-hit areas in the U.S., we are also contributing to care packages that will be sent out to all family physicians in New York. These physicians are working round-the-clock to ensure the health and safety of others. We are so pleased to be able to offer these caregivers some tea and, along with it, a moment of respite and enjoyment.

Fund-Raising with Our Customers
We wanted to give our customers the opportunity to contribute too. For any purchase on Stashtea.com, they could add a donation to New York City Health + Hospitals. What's more, we would match their donation to make it go twice as far. Thanks to our loyal customers, we were able to raise $1,036 to support the healthcare workers in NYC. We want to thank you for your generosity and willingness to help those who are putting themselves on the frontline to keep their patients safe and healthy.
