Yunnan Gold Tips

Yunnan Gold Tip Black is a pleasant-drinking tea with large, attractive leaves and plentiful gold tips. It is perhaps the smoothest of all the Yunnan teas.

This tea is grown in the southwest mountainous area of Yunnan province in China, where wild tea trees hundreds and perhaps a thousand years old are still vigorous. This area is sometimes referred to as the "birthplace of tea." Yunnan is a misty, mountainous province (the "yun" in Yunnan means "cloud"). This area borders Vietnam, Laos, and Burma and has grown tea for 1,700 years.
