Dragonwell Special Grade

Dragonwell Special Grade Green is a light-bodied tea with an aromatic fresh flavor. It can be infused several times with each cup savored as a different experience. It is regarded as China's most famous green tea, long celebrated in mythology and poetry.

Distinguished by its very flat leaves which are hand-processed, Dragonwell Special Grade Green is referred to as "Lung Ching" in Chinese. This tea that comes from the Hangzhou area in Zhejiang Province. This area is a popular vacation destination, and many people travel there to be married.

One pound of Dragonwell Special Grade Green requires about 25,000 tea buds, each of which must be snipped off individually. This tea truly deserves its imperial status as conferred by Chinese emperor Kangxi early in the 17th century.
