Orange Passionfruit Green Tea

The passion fruit is the best known fruit of a group of flowering herbs and shrubs native to tropical areas of America, Asia and Australia. About the size of a small egg, the passion fruit has a brittle, wrinkly outer shell which contains a soft orange pulp full of small seeds. Because of the large amount of seeds it takes about 25 passion fruits to yield one cup of juice.

Fortunately, despite the seeds, the passion fruit has a wildly aromatic, pleasantly tropical flavor that makes it a favorite delicacy around the world. We've taken natural passion fruit flavor and natural pure orange oil and added them to a bright mix of mint and green tea to create Orange Passionfruit Tea.

The swirl of fruit and mint adds a whole new dimension to green tea. This is a perfect beverage for early afternoon, very refreshing, mildly stimulating and completely satisfying. For a special treat, try it over ice.
