Kali Zulph Black Tea
This special reserve, limited edition Kali Zulph Black Tea comes from the Nilgiri (Blue Mountains) District of southern India, in gardens located 6,500 to 7,000 feet above the valley. The name of this tea translates into black braids, suggesting the twisted, cylindrical shape of the one leaf and a bud that is used to produce the tea. Unusual for a black tea, these tea leaves are not fully oxidized, resulting in a gentle taste, both amber and aromatic in the cup. We suggest starting with one heaping teaspoon of tea per 8-ounce cup. Infuse for 5 minutes with fresh, boiling water.
