Tea Tops for Summertime Drinks

Portland, OR - It's summertime, and the living needs to be easy. For the freshest beverage personalized to your own taste, iced tea made with premium teas from the Stash Tea Company in Portland, Oregon, is the one to choose.

Deliciously refreshing, Stash Tea's larger tea bags sized for pitchers make superb fresh brewed iced tea. From the American blend with good old-fashioned iced tea taste to the new Lime Green which is a cool and refreshing combo of tart lime and green tea, you'll find a favorite for every member of the family.

And, when it's too hot to even boil water, simply make refrigerator iced tea. In as little as two to three hours, you'll have a pitcher of cold and thirst-quenching iced tea. Place one large iced tea bag in a 1/2-gallon pitcher, fill with cold water and set in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours (or longer), depending on how strong you like your tea. Then, add ice to a tall glass, fill with tea, and savor your personal oasis of cool.

Actually, any of your Stash Tea favorites can be used to make iced tea. Earl Grey or English Breakfast on ice, for example, show off their full-bodied flair and classic notes. To use regular size tea bags, place 5 to 7 tea bags in a 1/2-gallon pitcher, fill with water and place in the refrigerator.

If you're feeling a tad more ambitious, try the following recipes developed by Stash Tea.

Chai Iced Tea (serves 2 to 4)
8 Stash Chai Spice tea bags (or Decaf Chai Spice)
