Iced Chai

There is no "right" chai recipe, so feel free to experiment and play around with these ingredients until you find something that works for you!
Try using different sweeteners (like sweetened condensed milk), adding more spices, or using a different chai tea blend.

Iced Chai

  • serves 2
  • 4 tsp loose Chai Spice
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cups of milk
  • Sugar to taste
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • A pinch of cinnamon

Combine the water and chai tea leaves in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Turn off the stove and strain the tea leaves. Stir in a pinch of sugar (or more). Allow the tea to cool before setting it in the fridge to chill.

Mix the tea with milk and serve over ice. For a slushy consistency, pour the chai and ice cubes into a blender and blend for about 30 seconds. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
