Product Details

One of the world's great teas, a flavored drink in mainland China and Taiwan, oolong tea originated in the Wuyi mountains of China's Fujian province. Oolong is partially oxidized, combining qualities of black and green teas. It has a distinctive fruity taste and bright golden color.

In 1690, Japan was ruled by the Tokugawa Shogunate, the Manchus had repelled the Mongols, Louis XIV ruled in splendor from his new palace in Versailles, Czar Peter had just attained the throne and Johann Sebastian Bach was five years old. And that same year in Japan, the Yamamoto family began producing premium teas, a tradition that continues to this day. More than three centuries of experience go into the selection and processing of Yamamotoyama Teas, among the finest in the world.

Very good Oolong.

This is the best by far Oolong I have ever tried.

Yamamotoyama really lives up to their reputation with this one, glad to see Stash carries it.

It has a very smooth flavor, very consistent, just a slight hint of subtle caramel and nut, but not too much to be overpowering or get annoying after many cups.
Very, very subtle flavor, just enough to give it a smooth "wow" factor, but not too much where it would come close to being a flavored tea.

This tea truly is perfect, works well in the morning as a replacement for English breakfast, if you're wanting something a little milder, but still gently waking, is a nice evening tea, calming and sweet to the senses, very, very nice tea.

I have never found a Oolong tea so consistently nice as this Oolong.

And that's including many very expensive varieties of more rare and "higher quality" Oolong.

This value is a steal for seven bucks.

What a great value, and the price is perfect.

Friendly, and all around warm.

Please don't tell me you are discontinuing the oolong too. This is the best oolong I've been able to find. You already got rid of my favorites - the teas of india. I won't have enough teas I enjoy to make it worth ordering if this goes too. So disappointing!

I'm used to strong, bold flavors with my teas however this tea possess the most delicate flavor I had ever came across which im turn was quite pleasing. Perfect for those who palates desire subtlety.

THIS TEA IS WHAT I DRINK ALL DAY LONG HOT OR COLD. I DO NOT DRINK COFFEE AS IT GAVE ME HEART BURN. THANK THE HEAVENS I HAVE FOUND THIS TEA. PLEASE CONTINUE TO HAVE THIS TEA AVAILABLE AND I WILL BUY. I HAVE MY MOTHER, AUNT, AND MOTHER-IN-LAW ALSO DRINKING THIS WONDERFUL TEA. THEY ARE ALSO LOSING WEIGHT AND ARE FULL OF ENERGY. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
