Product Details

Our Wildcrafted Linden Flowers has a soft grassy aroma and brews a beautiful golden cup. The flavor is mellow and lightly floral. It is perfect for relaxing just before bedtime.

Linden flowers are native to Europe and have been used in Europe and America for centuries in herbal treatments for a wide range of health problems. The flowers are collected in the summer months from trees with heart-shaped leaves and clusters of pale yellow flowers; these trees can grow to a hundred feet tall.

Our linden flowers are "wildcrafted", gathered from their native habitat. This ensures the most potent and purest botanical, which is confirmed by its essential oil content. The methods of collection and blending have been passed down since ancient times. All of the processing is done by hand by the village people and supervised by an ethnobotanist. The community's knowledge and passion for this product adds to its special allure.

    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
    • 25 grams makes 10-15 cups

    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups

A tasty brew

I have found this tea to be of excellent quality. With a great, flowery scent when you open the bag. Followed by a mild mellowing effect, after you make and drink the tea.

My tea arrived fresh in a sealed bag, and I keep it fresh in my sealed tea container. I find it to be naturally slightly sweet. No need to add sweetener of any kind. Makes a healthy, refreshing brew.

This tea is perfect for just before bedtime. It's light and calming, with a sweet floral base that isn't overwhelmingly perfumy. Very nice, and I think it helps me sleep better.

I did notice that the bag is labeled "100% linden flowers", which it is NOT. It contains leaves as well, which actually is what the fine print in the website description says. This didn't affect my enjoyment of the tea, but if it matters to you that you get 100% flowers it's something to be aware of.

This tea has a flavor unlike any other I've tried. It's taste kinda funny, rather unique I'd say. It really does seem to calm the stomach.
