Product Details

A very floral jasmine tea, rich with the seductive scent of jasmine. Exquisitely comprised of the tea bud and the top one or two tea leaves. This tea undergoes up to six scentings with jasmine flowers, each lasting about 10 hours. Truly a labor of love and art.

  • Cups to Grams:
    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
    • 25 grams makes 10-15 cups
    • 50 grams makes 20-25 cups
    • 100 grams makes 45-50 cups
    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
  • Ingredients: green tea, jasmine
  • Steeping Instructions: 1-3 minutes at 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit

This is a light, sweet tea that is wonderfully calming and has a great floral perfume/taste that's not overpowering, with just the barest hint of fruitiness. It's best made with water a little cooler than a full boil and a shorter steep time. The first time I made this tea, the first cup was somewhat uninteresting and edging toward bitter, but the second cup from the same leaves was amazing and the third cup was subtler but still good. With the second batch of leaves, I got it right the first time and all three cups were incredible.

This is my favorite tea. The light floral aroma is absolutely delightful. I brew two cups every morning in a china teapot. What a perfect way to start my day!

Subtle and Calming

I was surprised by this tea when I received it, since it actually looks more like a white tea than a green tea. I've found that brewing it a little cooler, for a shorter amount of time than I usually brew green teas (though a little hotter and longer than white tea) makes an amazingly relaxing, mellow cup of tea. The jasmine is noticeable, but not overpowering.

Like most jasmine teas, overbrewing can change the flavor from sublime to unpleasant, but this one is far more flexible than a number of other jasmine teas I've had (I have yet to overbrew a cup to the point of undrinkability).

In all, I highly recommend this tea for anyone who appreciates a subtle, sweet cup of tea, or anyone who likes jasmine.

Love this tea, I make a cup and relax. The bouquet is wonderful and the taste sublime. I would recommend any Stash brand tea. They are by far my favorite teas.
