Product Details

A delightful and exotic blend of green tea and mints, with a hint of lemon. Chinese green tea, spearmint and peppermint from Oregon, and freshly cut lemongrass are combined for a fragrant, refreshing and aromatic Moroccan Mint green tea. It is a superb drink hot or iced. Try it Moroccan style, sweetened with sugar.

In the bazaars of Morocco in North Africa, tea is served on a "sinya" or three legged tray, usually made of brass, plus a smaller tray which holds three boxes, one for green tea, one for mint and one for sugar. The tea is prepared in a samovar which brews strong, highly concentrated tea. Then it is heavily sweetened with sugar and a touch of mint. The tea is then poured into a teapot (known as a Moroccan style pot) which is elongated rather than round with a longer spout. The tea is poured from this teapot held high in the air into small crystal glasses with brass handles. Moroccans enjoy the social ritual of making this sweet flavorful tea which goes well with their hearty lamb stew, couscous, nuts and apricots.

    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
    • 25 grams makes 10-15 cups
    • 50 grams makes 20-25 cups
    • 100 grams makes 45-50 cups
    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
  • Ingredients: green tea, spearmint, lemongrass, peppermint
  • Steeping Instructions: 1-3 minutes at 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit

i love stash teas and have had a bunch of good ones, but this one is my absolute favorite. I like mint in general, but am not a big fan of really strong peppermint flavor. this mint is just perfect!

I LOVE this tea. I just tasted it today and I fell in love with it. I added a teaspoon of sugar then I was INSANELY IN LOVE!!!!!! It's a wonderful combination of mint and green tea. This tea is obviously my #1!! <3

I am a huge fan of Stash tea and their wide varieties, but this tea, for me, takes the cake! I adore green tea as well as any kind of mint tea. This tea combines them both in a delicious combination of both flavors that uniquely compliment each other! I was thrilled to find it and even more excited to try it. Once I did, I was hooked. I was certain I didn't like mint tea...until I tried this one.

Now I have to have it every day. It's so calming and incredibly yummy.

It makes for a perfect after dinner drink.

Stash has a lot of great flavors, but this one is #1 for me.

I had the priviledge to travel with members of the Saudi Royal Family for a few years. We had a man whose only duty was to make the coffee and tea. The Moroccan Mint Green Tea is the closest to what he brewed that I have ever tasted. Excellent !!

Morrocan Mint Green Tea the Best!

I love this tea, hot or cold - it is the perfect blend of green tea and mint, the mint is not overpowering, it's just right. I love this tea especially when I have mild indigestion, it goes down well and is very calming and smooth. It doesn't need any help, I drink it straight, no sugar or milk ever. The only downside is that no one in St. Louis seems to carry the Moroccan Mint anymore except one bag a time at coffee shops. Glad to have found a website from which I can order it. It is my favorite tea ever. I am a bit of a foodie and like to cook and try different things. I prefer tea to coffee hands down and I like that this has the health properties that come with green tea.
