Product Details

Jasmine is, without a doubt, one of the world's great teas. China produces seven quality grades of Jasmine tea. Our Jasmine Blossom blend has downy silver tips and most of the spent jasmine blossoms have been removed. It has an intoxicating aroma and a balanced and delicate flavor. This romantic tea may be enjoyed any time of the day but is especially pleasant in the evening.

The delicate Jasmine flower opens only at night and is plucked in the morning, when the tiny petals are tightly closed. Between six and eight in the evening, as the temperature cools, the petals begin to open. It is reported they emit a "popping" sound when they open, which is the signal for the scenting to begin.

Flowers and tea are "mated" in machines that control temperature and humidity. It takes four hours or so for the tea to absorb the fragrance and flavor of the Jasmine blossoms, and for the highest grades, this process may be repeated as many as seven times.

Because the tea has absorbed moisture from the flowers, it must be refired to prevent spoilage. The spent flowers may or may not be removed from the final product, as the flowers are completely dry and contain no aroma. They simply add visual appeal and are no indication of the quality of the tea.

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

I love tea. I normally buy mine loose and brew it by the pot. I got the teabags at a special promotional price. My mother asked for a cup of green tea. She said she would like some jasmine tea. She liked it so much that over the next couple of days she used up all the bags that I had in the house. She said it was light, smooth and very refreshing.

Especially black tea. I love to try different flavors. I believe tea helps my health. When I first tried jasmine blossom green tea in a Vietnamese restaurant I wanted to know the brand. It was Stash but I couldn't find this tea anywhere in the stores. Next time I visit the restaurant I will ask them.

GREAT Green + Jasmine Tea Blend

Green Tea and Jasmine respectively are two of my favorite teas. This blend is on the light side, at least when using tea bags. I think I would like to try this blend a bit stronger, but it works perfectly well as is. This Green Tea and Jasmine blend is a perfect introduction to this blend of tea for company and makes a great gift for the mild tea drinker. If you like your Green Tea less bitter, then this is a perfect, light blend for you also. I find it very soothing as an after lunch or after dinner tea. I find that it needs no sweetner, but if you are inclined to sweeten this blend, I highly recommend Stash's Guava sweetner. It sweetens without overpowering or imposing on taste.

Jasmine Lover

This is my favorite everyday tea. I've turned some friends on to this one, too, and they love it just as well. I even take it to restaurants because most places have inferior tea bags. For those of you who love jasmine tea, I also recommend Jasmine Yin Hao; a higher end jasmine tea that I use on special occasions or when I just want a better quality. It is even more fragrant and aromatic. But for everyday use, the Jasmine Blossom can't be topped.

Exotic and delightful!

When I first ordered this tea, I was curious how Jasmine tea would actually taste. We have jasmine vines which bloom in the spring and the air is filled with an exotic aroma, so I wondered if the tea would taste like jasmine actually smells (and if it did, would it taste good or strange?). Well, it tastes the way jasmine blossoms smell and it is absolutely heavenly! I'm hopelessly hooked.
