Wonderfully flavorful and smooth

In the opinion of a non-expert, Stash's ginger breakfast black tea is well-suited for any time of the day.

My initial impression was that the flavor of the ginger was a bit too subtle. But, as is so characteristic of ginger, the earthy heat emerged in greater presence about a third of the way through the cup, and I found the sweetly spicy experience delicious from that time to the last mouthful. The flavor of the black tea is not overpowered by the ginger, but blends very nicely to create a harmoniously smooth, rich taste with a spicy aroma.

I find that proper brewing temperature is imperative for good flavor in this tea. Personally, I like to use water heated to just under boiling point. I also find that the flavor is complimented by a touch of milk and sweetener.

Overall, this tea is an excellent find for those fond of ginger. Smooth and lightly spicy, this is definitely another great one from Stash.

3 stars because I don't like it... but I don't like pickled ginger either. If you like ginger, then you will love it! I drink this tea when I get sick & it calms my stomach, much like ginger ale only much stronger on the ginger flavor.

A Must-Try for Ginger Lovers!

I adore the sweet heat of ginger, so I was very pleased to find this blend. It's a great early morning tea; the combination of a little caffeine and a little ginger zip really gets me moving. It's neither bitter nor overpoweringly spicy, and has become my preferred breakfast tea for busy mornings.
