Product Details
Grown at a small tea garden, Jun Chiyabari, at an elevation of 5000 feet in the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal, this tea is from the first flush of the harvest. The leaves collected at the first plucking of the season yield a rich evergreen color and a medium body, slightly sweet cup with fresh aroma. The small tightly twisted leaves unfurl to large, full leaves when infused, and a light-medium green color liquor in the cup. Infuse for 2-4 minutes at 170-190 degrees (below boiling). Good for a second infusion.

- 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
- 25 grams makes 10-15 cups
- 50 grams makes 20-25 cups
- 100 grams makes 45-50 cups
- 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
