Not Tasty

Red Velvet tea should be a winner, but the ingredient list here is scary. Rooibos and hibiscus make a strange combination. And then we have "cream cheese flavor". Yuck. The tea smelled horrible while brewing. Adding a sugar cube helped the taste a little, but it still wasn't good enough for me to actually drink the cup. Down the drain it went.

Hooked on this flavor from the first cup! Tastes exactly like the real thing! I love it unsweetened as well as sweetened. For a true dessert in a cup, I mix it with 2 teaspoons of condensed milk :)

I wasn't sure about this tea when I first got it. I'm not a big fan of red velvet to begin with but I liked the idea of a dessert tea I could enjoy at night.

My instincts were spot on. Red Velvet is comforting, and delicious. The chocolate and creaminess of the cream cheese really are the key components here, and the rooibos and hibiscus are very slight - which I'm grateful for as I'm not a huge red tea fan, either.

I steep this tea for 5 minutes, and add a good bit of Very Vanilla soy milk for extra sweetness. The end result is a lovely way to satisfy any snacking urges before bed - or during a long night with a good book. I will be buying it again!

I read the ingredients and I don't understand why there is hibiscus in this tea. It makes it taste weird(at least I'm thinking its the hibiscus that makes it taste weird) I'm going to try brewing it in milk like I do with Chai and see if that helps the flavor.

I usually never leave reviews, but this tea was so good that I decided to make an exception. Absolutely delightful & can't wait to get some milk and try it as a latte :)
