Great

I really like this storage tin. I like that you can put packs of tea bags, or loose tea in it. It comes with a sticker you can write on then stick it on the front of the tin. Heck, you don't even have to put tea in it if you don't want to. You can store pretty much anything in here - pens, pencils, paper clips, whatever. It's a good price too. My only complaint is that the lid isn't very tight.

This tin is the perfect size. It can hold any tea I want. I can put loose tea or tea bags in it but mostly I put loose tea in it. They take up almost no space and I love it that you can get a free tin just by buying the tea of the week i have 3 tins and I'm loving it.

Bad Lids

These tins are just the right size & price! But none of the several that I have are any good because the lids are very lose. I bought them less than a month ago. They are always popping off & they can't be air tight if the lids are so lose. It is so sad that they won't do something to fix this problem. Teavana has nice air-tight plastic rims on their tins that work great. I have to run tape around the lids of mine and it works fine, just looks stupid. LOL

Excellent Tea Storage Tins

I have been using six of these tea tins for three to six years. Being tall, they do not take up much cupboard space, and the lids keep the tins air tight. I cut the labels from the 100g tea bags and carefully tape them to the appropriate tin with thin strips of Scotch tape. The labels can be removed and changed if I store a different tea in the tin.

I have 4 of these acquired over several years and have used them regularly. Need a couple more. Good tight lids that are easy to open

Cute but useless

I love having tins for my tea and I thought I would buy a set of Stash containers to go with my new purchase of loose teas. The price is great and I like Stash's smaller canisters but the lids are completely useless. They are too loose-fitting to be air tight and I worry that they come off if they accidentally tipped over. I didn't think this would be an issue so I bought 4! Sadness.

Great storage

Original review on 4/8/12: This is a great little canister to store tea. The inner liner on the lid seals it tight, and tea stays fresher if air stays out. A great product, and I wish I had one for every variety of tea I have! Holds more than it would seem at first glance- I got a full 50 gram bag of fluffy tea in mine, and 100 grams of fine tea with some room left over.

Update on 3/4/13: I had to update my review, because while I stand by my initial evaluation, the quality control on these canisters seems a bit spotty. The last tin I received didn't seal as tight as the first few. The opening was slightly too big for the lid and left a gap. I solved this by squeezing the opening smaller, by tying a wide shoelace around the rim (with the lid in place), then inserting a pencil under the shoelace and twisting the pencil until the rim was squeezed down to fit the lid. The lid is nice and snug now, and I'm perfectly happy with my canister.
