Our Christmas Morning tea was created specially for the holidays by our master blenders. Some of the very best teas from around the world were hand-selected for this truly exquisite blend.

Each tea component adds a distinctive flavor note. Indian Assam imparts a malty and hearty flavor; the Formosa Oolong adds bright, fruity flavor notes; the China Keemun, a hint of smokiness; our first flush Darjeeling, a flowery note; richness from the Yunnan and Nilgiri black teas; and the jasmine green tea imparts a lingering, sweet fragrance.

Overall, this breakfast tea is a rich, multi-layered drink that is sure to pick you up in the early morning. The smooth liquor of this tea showcases its bright and complex flavor. Christmas Morning is a great balance of brisk and sweet. Full-bodied and with a lovely aroma, this tea is a new and interesting take on traditional breakfast teas like English and Irish Breakfast. Enjoy it hot or iced, with milk and sugar or plain.

A holiday in every cup

Christmas Morning is a great tea. It was probably the first Stash I ever tried. Each time I drink it, I feel like it's Christmas. You know, those old-fashioned Christmases with gingerbread cookies in the oven and cinnamony apple cider simmering on the stove. Crisp, clean snow on the ground outside and the twinkling, shiny pine tree inside. Orange spice balls on the table -- ever made those, with cloves? The flavor is multi-layered, and hard to describe ... kind of fruity and spicy and smoky and, well, happy. I usually drink it black, but I've heard it's good with milk, too. I give it four and a half stars -- and that's only because I've recently found a few I like a bit more.

I purchased both the loose tea and the tea bags. I find they have a slightly different flavor, but I like both types. This is my favorite flavor of Stash Tea's and I enjoy it year round. When I make a pot of tea in the morning, I am able to enjoy it as iced tea all day. I received a small box of Christmas Morning Tea as a gift several years ago, and was not able to find it at my local stores, so I ordered it online and have continued to purchase it the same way. I am able to find other flavors of Stash tea in my local grocery store, but alas they do not carry Christmas Morning. If you like a good black tea with no after taste I think you would enjoy this tea.

I am hooked on Christmas Morning! It is truly as special as Christmas, but I use it throughout the year since it makes a great iced tea also. This blend is a true delight, both for the wonderful aroma that wafts from your cup and the exquisite taste that greets you. It has a nuance that unfolds slowly, starting with the Assam, developing mellow notes in the middle, and ending on lighter notes with hints of jasmine. As with all my tea, I use filtered water to get the best flavor. I never tire of Christmas Morning because of the delightful range of tastes within this blend. It is almost like a fine wine!

The multi-layered taste of this tea and the lovely aroma makes the day go better. I can't wait to get up and have my tea and it helps with everything throughout the day too. I dilute it with ice on hot days and sip it slowly on cold ones. It seems to embody all that I love in tea in the many shades of flavor that enter my mouth and nose and throat as I drink it. Just lovely. I bought it as a christmas gift for someone who didn't come to Christmas (so I sent them something else). I came upon it in the spring cleaning out my tea cupboard and made some iced tea with it. The aroma of it steeping just knocked me out. What a delightful treasure!

I swear this blend has made me appreciate black tea again! It is similar to Irish breakfast but brighter and more nuanced. This really does have the well-balanced blend of maltiness (Assam) and sweetness (jasmine) it advertises. I just love how the hint of floral sweetness blends with the brisk maltiness into a more complex blend than I expected. This is perfect with 2 lumps of sugar and a splash of milk. Caffeine isn't too intense, which is nice. I am looking forward to trying it as a loose tea, which I expect will be even better!

If you like a brisk tea in the morning, Christmas Morning is for you. Delicious complex flavors mingle in your cup, and the aroma alone is enough to clear your sleepy head. My husband and I both enjoy this tea very much, and when summer rolls around, we intend to make iced tea with it. The special blend of fine teas creates a depth of flavor that is impossible to obtain with single teas or even some other blends. Stash is consistent with their quality, and Christmas Morning is one of their best blends, suitable for year round drinking. It's definitely a morning tea...very robust and satisfying, and an excellent alternative to coffee, which we also enjoy. I would love to see a caffeine-free version of this tea, simply because the flavor is so delicious, it's a shame to restrict it to morning consumption. Stash has yet another winner with their special Christmas teas.
