Product Details

Stash Green Chai Spice lends a modern twist to the traditional Chai by blending Chinese green tea with cinnamon, whole cloves, cardamom, ginger root and sarsaparilla. The result is a flavorful and spicy tea that goes well with milk and sugar and may be enjoyed any time of the day. Chai can be both calming and stimulating.

Tip: For traditional Chai tea, brew with 7 ounces of water. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 ounce of milk (for a creamier drink use one ounce of canned evaporated milk).

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

  • Cups to Grams:
    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
    • 25 grams makes 10-15 cups
    • 50 grams makes 20-25 cups
    • 100 grams makes 45-50 cups
    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
  • Ingredients: green tea, cinnamon, clove, ginger root, sarsaparilla, natural cinnamon flavor, clove oil, cardamom oil
  • Steeping Instructions: 1-3 minutes at 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit

The spice-blend makes it exciting enough that no sweetener is required. This is by far my favorite tea.

I like to drink it a little weak and brew it in twice the recommended amount of water.

So I just tried the chai green tea for the first time. I had it with milk, like my friend recommended, and a bit of sugar. Oh my gosh, it was deeeelicious! It tasted just like the chai tea latte from starbucks. I just wanna go out and get me a box right now! Can't wait to try other flavors of stash tea... :)

I love Stash Tea's Green Chai. I use this in water, milk, and vanilla almond milk. I am sure it would be perfect in soy, too. The chai isn't overpowering, but it masks the bitterness that green tea can sometimes have. This is perfect if you want something that tastes a bit like the holidays. :o)

My all time favorite way to drink chai tea now is Stash's Green Chai.

It's smooth and mellow with the wonderful spices of chai tea.

Plus you get the added benefit of all the antioxidants of green tea.

LOVE this tea and keep a steady stock of it so I never run out.

Chai Green became my favorite the first time I tried it. Even just the smell of the tea bag when I rip open the packet is delicious! It has all the exotic flavor and spice of regular chai, but the green tea base is milder and less bitter than the usual black tea base. Even hot, it's refreshing and easy to drink.

The cinnamon and allspice give it a festive, almost holiday flavor, but the ginger and cardamom save it from tasting "Christmasy," so you can drink it any time and won't get tired of it.

One of the best varieties of chai I have ever tried. Green chais are more challenging to find than black ones which makes this blend even more unique. Cardamom, cinnamon and other spices seem perfectly blended for a smooth, bold flavor. One downside is that chais are always better made with full leaf tea rather than pulverized camellia sinensis, but this bag does steep very quickly and effectively. Highly recommended, no milk needed.

I have been drinking Chai Green Tea every morning for the past seven years. I add milk to make it into a Chai Latte and some Stevia for sweetening and I have a wonderful, healthy warm up first thing in the morning. The antioxidant properties are highly touted, but I drink it because it tastes like a treat, especially if I use Organic Agave Sweetener. I order it in large quantities so I will never run out because when I have I tried other brands only to be disappointed. You don't see it in the stores anymore so when I share it with my friends they always love it! Thank you, Stash and please don't change a thing!
