Product Details

Ceylon Breakfast is a smooth, mellow and mild black tea with a medium body, light astringency and lingering finish. It brews a beautiful golden color in the cup and will accept the addition of milk and sugar.

Sri Lanka, once known as Ceylon, is a beautiful tropical island off the southern tip of India. Our Ceylon Breakfast comes from the St. Clair Tea Estate in the Dimbula region, located near the central part of the island. A high-quality garden with an excellent reputation, the St. Clair Estate has been growing tea for 130 years.

This tea has a beautiful color. It is very smooth, but still rich and full-flavored. Perfect for drinking from morning to night. A wonderful all-around tea! One of my favorites!

Top o'the morning

This is a tea for all day every day. It is rich, red, sweet tea with enough punch to get your heart started but not so much that you wind up jazzed for hours. I am a "hard start" so I use it to get moving first thing in the morning and all morning. My only complaint is that recent batches have been weaker, more of a golden tea than the rich red tea I so much enjoy.

We use this tea every day and even take it with us on trips. It is just a perfect blend of taste and flavor with smoothness. All my tea lovers family members like this tea as well and have stopped bringing their own when visiting!

Smooth and Mellow, an Easy Morning Wakeup!

This is an excellent breakfast tea for those who like to wake up gently, not with a bracing jolt. This tea is full-bodied but smooth. It is easy to drink, particularly with a splash of milk (or, in my case, almond milk). I used to drink English Breakfast, but wanted something that was even smoother, even less bitter (though English Breakfast is hardly a bitter tea). Each mug of Ceylon Breakfast brews up perfectly; a treat every morning that I have it.
