Surprisingly boring

The premise sounds great, orange and chocolate, one of my favourite combinations! But when I brewed a cup, I found the orange flavour to be lacking and it tasted more like watered-down hot chocolate. I tried brewing it longer, with honey, with cream, but I sadly could not get it to work for me.

Completely agree with other one star review. I have enjoyed all Stash teas I have tried until this one. The best thing about this tea is truly the name & packaging. I love chocolate & orange but I found this tea repulsive and dumped the cup after a few sips. It had a wonderful bouquet before adding the water and I was anticipating an exquisite tea experience. With water added it smelled a bit like dirt–very earthy. I simply don't know how anyone could enjoy this tea or how it won first place in any contest. To each their own I guess.

Chocolatey with a nice amount of orange. Great with milk and sweetener for tea time or after dinner. I usually don't like anything with hibiscus, but this is delicious. Would buy again.

Cake in a Cup!

That's all I can say - it really takes like you eating/drinking chocolate cake from a cup. It is very delicious. The orange is really a small hint if any - but I think it gives it a baked cake flavor. Yummy!!

Wonderful dark chocolate flavor

This is a really nice dessert tea. The flavor is a a wonderful dark chocolate flavor, like a good cup of hot cocoa but not overly sweet (even though I drank mine with some milk and sugar). I'm deducting a star because I could not detect any orange flavor or aroma. Think of this as a more refined, grown-up version of hot cocoa. I think this might also be very interesting iced. Will probably buy again.

I was not impressed. Just did not have as much chocolate flavor as I hoped. I had to scale The water down to get a more flavorful cup of tea.

I LOVE this tea!!! It just came yesterday and I drank a whole pot last night and am halfway through the second pot this morning.

It is delicious, tastes like hot cocoa and (to me at least) needs no sweetener.

It reminds me of a chocolate orange torte my mother in law makes.

Thank you Stash!!

I LOVE this tea and give it credit for helping me along my weight loss journey. After dinner when I am hankering for dessert this is the tea I turn to instead. I make it very strong - two bags in 12 oz H20 nuked for 6 minutes and then I let it steep for at least 10 minutes. I add a splash of liquid stevia and wind up with a cup of rich chocolaty goodness. Yum!

Not worth your time

We are big fans of Stash teas in general. The best thing about this tea, however, is the name; it goes downhill from there. The dry tea aroma is pleasant but not really indicative of the name. The brewed aroma is weak and flat. The brewed flavor reminded me of a vegetable broth, nothing remotely close to what I was expecting. I have varied the brew time (3 to 8 minutes max) and the water to tea ratio with no real improvement. We are frugal folks, but I'm tossing the rest of this box; we have many other flavors we enjoy (try Chocolate Hazelnut or Orange Spice).

I'm a tea snob. I hate almost everything because it's too tart, too bitter, too flowery, too heavy, etc. This tea was a delightful experience...dessert in a cup! Add a bit of honey for a deep relaxing chocolate/orange experience. It's my favorite tea of all time and I order it by the dozens of boxes. Oh yes, and ORGANIC is an added bonus.
