Product Details

Unique blend of rare and expensive white tea and top quality green tea. We begin with Mutan White (White Peony) which is made from the leaves of the da bai or "big white" bush and mixed with buds from the shui hsien or "water sprite" tea plant. The leaves have silver tips and are predominantly greenish-brown in color and very flat. The buds are lustrous, soft and silvery. Its name, a literal translation from the Chinese, probably comes from the very pale color of its liquor.

We then blend this white tea with green tea from Japan, China and India. The resulting tea is pale gold in the cup and has a unique delicate, smooth flavor.

White tea is a very rare, expensive connoisseurs tea that was only produced in China's Fujian province, a region famous for its prized white teas. It is difficult to obtain as production is extremely limited. White tea is harvested only a few days of the year. Once harvested, white tea is not oxidized or rolled, but simply withered and dried.

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

Can still drink tea

Due to my my medical issues, I was told I could no longer drink my beloved Black Teas. So I went without for awhile until my daughter told me about white teas, I checked with my doctor and these were ok. I tried the white earl grey first and enjoyed it so I decided to expand to others, I found the infused Green and white and this has become my new go to tea. This is the first tea I can enjoy without my cream and sugar (also had to give up cream). I enjoy both the bag (work) and Loose(home)anytime of the day without any issues that the black teas created (excessive mucus and contribution to my breathing issues)
I will be exploring some of the other options in the white tea family.

I toss a fusion green and white tea bag in the bottom of my water bottle everyday. The water is flavored without the chemicals and color additives of some other water enhancers on the market. I LOVE the clean, fresh flavor of this tea. I find I get more water in every day while appreciating the health benefits of drinking green tea. Green tea on it's own is too bold and pungent for my palate. The fusion with the white tea creates a lighter, enjoyably refreshing flavor for me. I cut shorten the string of the bag and staple the bag closed, prior to adding filtered water to my bottle. Add ice and the tea flavors the water as is. One bag is usually good for one 32oz. bottle and a refill before using a new bag. Thank-you for a great product!

I love all flavors and kinds of tea, and my husband (who rarely used to drink tea), absolutely love this tea. We like it so much that we drink it every morning with our breakfast. It has such a smooth, delightful flavor that it is hard to resist drinking more than more two cups. It is hard to believe that something that tastes this good is actually good for you! This tea has been our "tea of choice" for the past three years and I am so grateful to my friend Ruth for recommending it to us.
