Product Details

Unique blend of rare and expensive white tea and top quality green tea. We begin with Mutan White (White Peony) which is made from the leaves of the da bai or "big white" bush and mixed with buds from the shui hsien or "water sprite" tea plant. The leaves have silver tips and are predominantly greenish-brown in color and very flat. The buds are lustrous, soft and silvery. Its name, a literal translation from the Chinese, probably comes from the very pale color of its liquor.

We then blend this white tea with green tea from Japan, China and India. The resulting tea is pale gold in the cup and has a unique delicate, smooth flavor.

White tea is a very rare, expensive connoisseurs tea that was only produced in China's Fujian province, a region famous for its prized white teas. It is difficult to obtain as production is extremely limited. White tea is harvested only a few days of the year. Once harvested, white tea is not oxidized or rolled, but simply withered and dried.

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

  • Cups to Grams:
    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups

    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
  • Ingredients: blended green teas, blended white teas
  • Steeping Instructions: 1-3 minutes at 170-190 degrees Fahrenheit

I am a connoisseur of teas, especially white tea, and this is one of my favorites. I was told to drink more white and green tea as part of an anti-inflammatory diet and found this to be a superb option.

I really enjoy this tea. It is pretty mild, which is nice. I think some green teas taste like straw, this one does not at all.
I do buy this tea. I do recommend it to friends.

This is my go-to tea. It's good in the morning because of its subtle flavor... never too overwhelming, but enough of a flavor so you know you're not just drinking hot water. Later in the day, when I do want a bit more flavor, this tea mixes well with any other flavor tea. I especially like to mix this tea with herbal, non-caffeinated teas, that I like the flavor of but still want a bit of caffeine with. I'm sorry that my local grocery stores have discontinued this particular flavor, but I'm happy that I can still find it online... in bulk!

This is a great tea that caters to everyone. It does not have a floral scent that limits its use. It blends well to sipping as well as mealtime. It is healthy and just simply a pleasure to drink. I cannot find a single thing wrong with it except I forget how much to order when I make my purchases, of course that may be because I send little packages home with my son and his family and some with my grandson who is in college (his friends love it too).

I enjoy the light flavor of this tea throughout my work day. It is great to start the day by steeping it into a hot glass of water and enjoying it with a breakfast. As lunchtime encroaches, i pair it up with a tall glass of ice water and it compliments most every culinary selection. After a long day at the office, it's nice to sit at home and enjoy another hot glass with just a slight drizzle of tea for added sweetness.

I was a non-tea drinker who had heard about the health benefits of drinking green tea. I tried green tea, but I found it to taste grassy. I tried the fusion green and white after a friend told me about the mild taste of white tea. I am a convert! I drink fusion green and white tea for the health benefits, but I enjoy the flavor and find it very soothing. I have never enjoyed tea before drinking this excellent blend of teas.

I used to poke fun at the tea drinkers of the world, drank 5-8 cups of coffee per day and loved it. Then one morning while we were out of coffee in desperation I tried my mother-in-law's fusion green and white tea. I was amazed at the flavor and how satisfying a cup of this wonder tea could be. Then I learned about all the health benefits abut it too so I switched. Honestly, I lost about five pounds in about a week and a half after switching to this wonderful tea. Now I don't even like coffee anymore. I never imagined that I would switch from being an avid coffee drinker to this incredible blend of tea. Healthy'n fit in Cali.

I drink the Green and White daily and add nothing to it for flavoring. I use one or two tea bags daily and find I can use them each for a couple of cups. I take it in travel mugs and also offer it to others to promote healthy living due to the anitoxidants it contains. I am a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and since being introduced to this product about 5 years ago drink no other brand. I find it hard to locate in stores and the store I normally go to many times is out of this particular flavor. I find the flavor not too strong or bitter and look forward to my first cup of the day as well as my last as a way of winding down. Friends and family used to laugh when I would go to a restaurant and ask for hot water and respond "I have my own teabag" until I started leaving the teabags with the waitresses to try and they now don't question the "hot water only" comment.
