Product Details

We've created a decaffeinated version of our popular Earl Grey that has all the rich flavor with less than 6 mg of caffeine per cup (compared with 40 mg for our regular Earl Grey and 90 mg in a cup of coffee). Stash Decaf Earl Grey is made with naturally decaffeinated black teas using a completely natural European process which removes 99.5% of the caffeine but retains all the flavor, color and aroma of the tea.

Earl Grey is a black tea flavored with bergamot, an oil extracted from a pear-shaped Mediterranean citrus fruit about the size of an orange. Our Decaf Earl Grey is a versatile tea, at its best in the afternoon or after dinner. It brews a beautiful amber cup with a distinctive flavor and lightly fragrant aroma. Delicious plain, this tea may also be served with sugar and milk. Plus it makes a wonderful, refreshing iced tea.

Note: The 1000 ct tea bags are packaged loose in a box.

  • Cups to Grams:
    • 8 grams makes 3-4 cups
    • 25 grams makes 10-15 cups
    • 50 grams makes 20-25 cups
    • 100 grams makes 45-50 cups
    • 1 pound loose makes 180-200 cups
  • Ingredients: naturally decaffeinated blended black teas, bergamot extract
  • Steeping Instructions: 3-5 minutes at 190-209 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Caffeine: The decaffeination process does not remove all caffeine. Decaf teas contain 4 mg or less of caffeine per cup.

I am a shift worker, so this Earl Grey decaf is excellent for those times when I need to get some sleep, but want a cup of tea. I also drink it during the later hours of my shift, so I can still get to sleep when I get home. The flavor is just like the regular Earl Grey!!!

I have been drinking Stash earl grey decaf for a long time. It is one of the few decaf earl grey available and I love the smell and flavor. My husband and I drink it everyday.... I strongly recommend it.

I have tried many decaf teas and this is easily the best. Quality is very high with little or no loss of flavor or aroma. This has become my favorite hot beverage after allowing myself one caffeinated drink each morning, and surprisingly, I have not missed the caffeine at all.

When caffeine was taken from me by doctor's orders, I thought my beverage life was over! Then my employer gave me Stash teas for a gift and I am hooked! I was a coffee drinker with occasional tea beverages, but now I hardly ever go for the coffee -- I find the Stash teas so enjoyable!

Use this product every day, specifically the decaf for dietary and health purposes. I particularly enjoy this brand. After trying many other Earl Grey teas decaf and regular, this is the only one I found not bitter. It's the only Earl Grey I will buy. Never experienced any difficulties ordering on line.

I have tried many decaf teas and this is the best. I start off my day with a cup of Early Grey Decaf. As I sip, it seems to stimulate and soothe me for the day that is about to begin. My 4:00 cup seems to knit together my body and soul. Before bed, my final cup of the day calms me and helps me drift off.

I had been searching for a decaf I like and came across Stash decaf Earl Grey in a coffee shop. I thought if the decaf was so good I should try the regular. One thing lead to another and I tried the double bergamot and it's been my tea for a few years now. I carry it with me everywhere I go. I have found some others over seas that I like just as well but they are prohibitively expensive to get in the US. Of course, I also beleive they should blow up every Lipton Tea factory and save us from the bottom of the barrel.
