Product Details

For many years, Stash Earl Grey Tea has been a favorite of tea lovers. Many people seem to love the careful balance of citrusy oil of bergamot and the blend of fine black teas which our Earl Grey blend is famous for. Certain Earl Grey fanatics have grown especially fond of the top grade oil of bergamot that we use and have asked for more! Thus, Double Bergamot Earl Grey was born.

This is a great late afternoon or early evening tea. It goes very well with shortbread and cream scones. And for a uniquely appealing cold beverage, try Double Bergamot Earl Grey tea on ice.

Upon first opening the packet your senses are engulfed in a full bodied aroma of bergamot. Let's face it: if you like Earl Grey tea you drink if as much for the smell as well as the flavor. You can't get anything better on taste and smell than this tea! When I brew it I am immediately relaxed by the smoky blend arising from my cup. When I drink it I am tranformed to a place that can only be described as heaven! You will not be disappointed by this tea.

I love the bergamot component of Earl Grey, but I often wished it was more pronounced. Then, I discovered the Double Bergamot Earl Grey by Stash, and I have become abolsutely addicted! I drink it a couple of times a day, and I love it iced. I recommend it to all my tea-drinking friends, and have even suprised others with it as an iced tea on a hot summer day and have had rave reviews- even has converted some of my coffee die-hard friends to tea. Thanks for making such an affordable and delicious luxury!

I am from the "South" (Southern US, that is) and we are not known for drinking hot tea. I started drinking hot tea in my early 20's when coffee made my heart flutter - I quickly found and settled on Earl Grey. To me, it smelled like Froot Loops, a favorite childhood scent. When I heard of Double Bergamot EG...well, I had to try it and I loved it. What I have discovered, though, is that I love the Double Bergamot as an iced tea in the summer (pre-sweetened, of course). It is so very refreshing! Like adding an old soda fountain orangeade to iced tea...but better!

I buy this tea by the case and drink it every day. I used to get earl grey tea every day at work. It cost me $2.00 5 days a week. Sometimes, I would buy a second cup later in the day. This adds up! Then when the coffee shop raised it prices, I decided to make my own tea every day. This tea is as good as teas that cost double the price. I usually add some vanilla creamer to get a London Fog. This is the only Earl Grey worth drinking. I need 2 bigelow bags to even come close to the flavor. It's as good as the ones sold at a ubiquitous coffee shop that charges more. Buy this tea!
